I have been on vacation for the past two weeks and due to poor connections to the internet from various motel rooms and general lack of time, have done minimal posting (as you can tell). I just got somewhat caught up with the following postings -
  • Loretta Watson's reports for the Board of Supervisor meetings on June 19 and July 10 have been posted to our Neighborhood News page.
  • Fred Alston's Fire Marshal report for June has been posted.
  • The Official Minutes of the June 19 meeting of the Board of Supervisors have been posted.
  • The July 14 Philadelphia Inquirer had an article by Christopher Merrill titled "Turnpike board puts brakes on new ramp", reporting on the PA Turnpike Commission's decision to hold additional CAC meetings due to an apparent agreement that not all of the required information has been obtained. The Preliminary Agenda for Monday's meeting of the Board of Supervisors has been posted.
The Planning Commission has canceled the July 11 meeting. The meeting is rescheduled for Tuesday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m., Charlestown Elementary School.
