Meet the Candidates - July 13th -
Please come to Jerry and Shari Moore's house this Sunday, July 13th from 4 PM to 6 PM to meet two super people (Duane Milne and Steve Kantrowitz) who are the Republican nominees for our state legislature seats in the upcoming election. Steve and Duane will speak and answer questions on various topics -- this is your chance to give voice to the things that concern us in Charlestown: Our beautiful environment and quality of life, increasing taxes, and Route 202, to name a few. Duane is our representative running for re-election to the 167th Legislative District which includes Charlestown. Steve is running for the 19th Senatorial District which also includes Charlestown.
These are two high quality candidates and we are blessed that they are willing to go through the ordeal of a campaign and serve in our state legislature. They need our help to win however. Please come out and meet Steve and Duane. If you are already committed please try to bring a friend or two (or more!) who may be on the fence or independent. We really need to get the word out on just how good these candidates are.
If you ve never been to a meet-and-greet then please be assured that this is not a fund-raising event. The intent is simply to meet the candidates, hear what they have to say and have your questions answered. Light refreshments will be served.
The Moore house is located at 4047 Pickering Dam Road (Kantrowitz & Milne signs will be on the lawn). If you need directions please email back or call 610-935-1934.
Thanks and hope to see you on Sunday!
