Roadmaster Report to the Board of Supervisors
May 5, 2003
We started the spring cleanup on all of the township roads. The street sweeping was completed on April 25th. The Pickering Road bridge was cleaned on April 25th and the bumper bolts were replaced and/or tightened on May 2nd.
The township engineer and I looked at several areas of concern in the Tyrone Farms area.
Intersection improvements continue in the Charlestown Road / Phoenixville Pike / Warner Lane / Yellow Springs Road area. The railroad crossing preemption is being corrected at Charlestown Road and the Devault Lane railroad signal system is being installed.
I am continuing to review township roads for deficiencies or necessary improvements. The reflective bar installation on critical stop-sign posts is continuing.
The Spring 2003 Road Tour is scheduled for May 8, 2003.
