DRAFT Official Map Ordinance Amendment
This page provides access to both the original 2003 Official Map Ordinance as well as the latest draft of an amendment to that ordinance, discussions of which started in 2005 and will likely be completed in 2006.
 The Township Official Map is a color coded map which is a part of the Offical Map Ordinance. The latest draft of the proposed Official Map, prepared by Thomas Comitta Associates, Inc., is available at the Township Office as an 11"x17" color document.
Like the Zoning Map, the Official Map is detailed by parcels, but in this case the parcels are color-coded according to the following categories -
Public Parks and Open Space
Other Municipal Land
Quasi-Public Open Space
Conservation Easement/Land Trust
Open Space Reservation
Proposed Municipal Use Site
Both the original 2003 Official Map Ordinance and the latest proposed amendment to that ordinance are available as web pages and as PDF files. Among other things, the ordiance amendment itself lists the tax map parcels that fall in the "Open Space Reservations" category of the Official Map.

 Proposed amendment to the Official Map to add seven parcels under the "Proposed Municipal Use" designation. The parcels consist of the Pennsylvania Rail Lines LLC rail road bed, and the Township is hoping that at some point in the future they may become available for a rails-to-trails conversion. We have posted the Proposed Amended Official Map itself on this site in two forms, one a relatively small (but still 588 kb) graphic image that can be viewed as a web page, and the other a larger (1 mb) PDF file that you can download. The PDF file has the advantage that you can zoom in on portions of the map for more detail. In both cases, these maps are made from a scan of a printed map that was itself a scan of the original map.
