Charlestown Historical Society
2005 Patrons' Dinner

Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005 at 5:30PM
The Charlestown Historical Society, a non-profit corporation committed to the research in the history of Charlestown Township, the acquisition and management of historical sites such as the Stinson Markley Property and the Wisner Rapp house, and the recording and preservation of historical records and materials, has one fundraiser each year to raise much needed funds for the facilitation of their mission.
This year our Patrons Dinner fundraiser will be held at township supervisor Paul Hogan's Buckwalter Barn.
The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005 from 5:30PM to 9:00PM. The property, with one of this township's most magnificent barns, is located at 238 Sycamore Lane. The neighboring Buckwalter House will be open during cocktails, courtesy of the owners, Luciana Marulli and Michael Koenig. PLEASE CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE.
Our ticket price of $60.00 per person is all inclusive. This year our menu will include a gourmet buffet by Anthony Aquilante consisting of Prime Round of Beef au Jus, Chicken Marsala, a Vegetable Medley of green and yellow zucchini, asparagus, onions, broccoli and potatoes, Tri Color Cheese Tortellini and Penne Alfredo. Also included are Salad, Fresh Baked Rolls and Butter, Assorted Desserts, Colombian Coffee, Brewed Decaf and Tea, Wine, Beer, Soft Drinks and Water.
The festivities will include a Raffle for a large basket of cheer, Presentations made to a township resident for outstanding community service and a Live Auction of many exciting items conducted by Daniel Alleva, local auctioneer.
Auction Donations Wanted - The Charlestown Historical Society is seeking donations of items (including services and tickets to events) to be auctioned at the Patrons' Dinner. Please call Ellen Behrle at 610-935-2802 if you can make a donation or have questions about the auction.
