Charlestown Historical Society
2004 Patron's Dinner

Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 from 5:30PM to 9:00PM
The Charlestown Historical Society, a non-profit corporation committed to the research in the history of Charlestown Township, the acquisition and management of historical sites such as the Stinson Markley Property and the Wisner Rapp house, and the recording and preserving of historical records and materials, has one fundraiser each year to raise much needed funds for the facilitation of their mission.
This year our Patrons Dinner fundraiser will be held at the property of Vincent Kling, an acclaimed architect who has served our township as a Township Supervisor and Planning Commission member for many, many years.
The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 from 5:30PM to 9:00PM. The property, with one of this township's most magnificent view sheds, is located on Pikeland Rd. between Church and Merlin.
Our ticket price of $50.00 per person is all inclusive. This year our menu will include a gourmet meal of Roast Round of Beef, Pork tenderloin, Roast Turkey with Bernaise sauce, salad, side dishes, fruit, hordourves, desserts, coffee, wine, beer, soft drinks and bottled water.
The festivities will include a raffle for a large basket of cheer, presentations made to 2 township residents for outstanding community service and a live auction of many exciting items. We are hoping to have Daniel Alleva, local auctioneer, join us again for this extremely exciting event.
Anyone who is not a member of the Historical Society and wishes to attend or would like to make a tax deductible contribution in support of our efforts should contact Fran Rodgers 610-827-7817. Invitations will be mailed to members of the CHS automatically. As always, our seating is limited so reserve your seats as soon as you receive your invitations, which will be by the 15th of August.
