A beautiful part of southeastern Pennsylvania

Barbara Grant - Artist
 Barbara Grant, a long time resident of Charlestown Township, paints what she calls "contemporary realism"; combining children, dogs, cats, landscape and commercial icons into a composite that the viewer is free to interpret. The paintings are oil on canvas, with handmade wooden frames. They range in size from 2'x2' to 8'x10'. Her studio is in her home off of Wells Road, and she uses the Charlestown landscape in much of her work. She has exhibited extensively in the region including:
- Philadelphia Museum of Art
- Delaware Art Museum
- Pennsylvania State Museum
- Woodmere Art Museum
- Berman Museum of Art
- State Museum of Pennsylvania
Barbara has won over a dozen awards for her paintings and has her work exhibited in collections by many firms in the Philadelphia area. You may see her exhibit titled Recent Paintings from September 5 - 28, 1997 at
