Schuylkill Springtime Stunners House and Garden Tour

Sunday, June 5, 2005
Sponsored by
Phoenixville Community Education Foundation

Have you ever marveled at the beautiful homes, gardens and historic barns in Schuylkill Township (which was formed from part of Charlestown in 1826)? Ten of the most magnificent ones will be open for your viewing pleasure -- compliments of the owners.
If you want to see more after the Vassar Showhouse closes, and cannot wait before the Devon House Tour in October, consider touring ten beautiful homes, gardens and historic barns in Schuylkill Township on Sunday, June 5th from 12-5PM. Each is magnificent and offers different decorating styles that reflect the homeowners' good taste. Five homes are historic with rich architectural detail; others are new construction including builders' models with many upgrades.
Phoenixville Community Education Foundation (PCEF) is proudly sponsoring this first annual "Schuylkill Springtime Stunners: House and Garden Tour" on June 5th rain or shine. Area restaurants are donating refreshments in most homes for afternoon tea.
The tour begins at the Phoenixville Area Middle School on Route 29, where house passes and self-guided tour maps will be distributed as early as 11:30 AM. For anyone who prefers to park and ride, bussing will be available compliments of Eagle Wolfington Leasing Corporation.
PCEF sells tickets at the Phoenixville Area School District Administration building. Advance tickets cost $25 per person (if purchased by May 25th). "Same Day" tickets will be available at PAMS for $30 each. Neighborhoods (or organized groups of 10 or more) are invited at the discounted fee of $20 per person.
For more details, watch homeowner-guided "sneak peek" tours on Phantom TV4, or contact Joani Vanceat 484-927-5021 or via e-mail at vancej@padsd.com.
