The Woolen Mill

This photo was taken by John R. Peirce, both a professional photographer and painter, and probably about the time of his 1969 painting of the mill. The mill race is in the foreground left, and the arched bridge where it went under the road and entered the mill is partially covered by some wood boards. Note that the road passes on the near side of the mill at the time of this photo, and a mailbox is visible right above the bridge.
