Troop 1773's Longwood School Project
Essay by Rachel C.
Longwood School
By Rachel C.
Troop 1773
As I read about the Longwood School, I thought to myself, "If I were a student who attended the Longwood School, and I heard of Troop 1773's plans to make what used to be my school a better place for the community to see, I would be quite happy." So, my troop and I would like to clean up the area.
Besides the fact that it would have made students of the Longwood School happy, and that it would/will be a great historical site, it would make me happy to know that that my girl scout troop, 1773, and I were part of making the Longwood School a cleaner, and much more pleasant area to visit and look at. It would make me feel like a person who cares.
I do not want the Longwood School to waste away knowing that my troop and I could have been the girls who made the Longwood School a great historical site for our community to see.
