A beautiful part of southeastern Pennsylvania
Farm House and Driveway on Merlin Road 1944, 1968, 1998
These photos were taken looking up the hill just before the bridge shown in the previous photos. The driveway to this farm used to run straight down to Merlin Road. In the 50's, a pond was built and the drive was curved around below the pond to the entrance between stone gateposts, just across the bridge. In addition, the farm house received extensive remodeling in 1950, with field stone replacing the wood portion shown in the 1944 photo. Unfortunately, the 1968 photo was taken in the summer, with trees obscuring the house.
