A beautiful part of southeastern Pennsylvania
Bridge on Merlin Road 1944, 1968, 1998
These photos were taken approaching the small bridge at the bend in the road about a mile from the Yellow Springs end of Merlin Road. In 1944, there was a small stone house on the right, just after crossing the bridge. By 1968, the house had been removed and the driveway from the farm on the right (uphill, towards Wells Rd) was re-routed so that its entrance was between the existing two stone gateposts. Then in 1996, a new home was constructed in the pasture beyond the driveway entrance.
